Boo
Hiccup was only six months old when he was lost
by his parents on an expedition to the Amazon.
It
looked as if the baby Boo would perish. However,
luck favoured him when he was found by a family
of tsetse flies, who raised him as one of their
own.
However,
at the age of ten, Boo's entire adopted family were
wiped out by the holidaying Barrington-Smythe family
and their use of a single can of pesticide.
The
young Boo attached himself to a travelling circus.
Here he trained in the skills of stilt walking and
unicycling. In the Far East he acquired ancient
learnings of magic and illusion. In London he learned
not to cross until the green man lights up.

Boo
Hiccup sometimes assumes the particularly ridiculous name
of Andy Boughtflower. This completely make-believe figure
comes with a fabulously fictional history, which goes something
like this:
Andy
was born in the Norfolk village of Horsham St. Faith.
At the age of 19 he left the wild green pastures of Norfolk
to study Psychology and Drama at Nene University College in
Northampton.
Andy's
first job out of university was to assistant direct and perform
in a music video with Natacha Atlas. The song stayed at no.1
in the Italian chart for six weeks. |

Andy
spent the next few years touring with children's theatre companies.
He also acted in a number of acclaimed theatre productions,
most notably The Deep Blue Sea and Don Juan.
He spent three years working in some amazing theme park shows:
as a jester at Thorpe Park, a mad professor at Legoland, and
as James Bond's nemesis in a stunt show in Belgium.
He also learned magic, juggling, stiltwalking and, most importantly,
how to be stupid. |
Andy
has performed in three pantomimes, his favourite being in
Aladdin with the Hiss and Boo Company. He also produced, scripted
and performed in the slapstick show The Lost Laugh with Jane
Deane.
He
has been Darth Maul at the Barbican's Star Wars exhibition,
the Judge at the London Dungeons, a Charlie Chaplin perform-a-like,

Circus, and has had many other diverse and exciting performing
