We have a sunny spacious room to rent, available from the 10th of October. The house has shared bathroom facilities, kitchen and living room. Here's a little information about the area, the house, the room and us:
We live in a place called Bellingham, which is just south of Catford. The Bellingham area is really pleasant, and doesn't really feel like London at all. The area is green, friendly and suburban, and our street is quiet most of the time.
Local shops and amenities are about a six minute walk away. There's a large Co-op that's good for most things. There's also a pharmacy, a pub (Laurel and Hardy themed), lots of take-aways, a post office, a fish and chip shop, and a rather odd assortment of other shops such as a wedding cake shop and a toy library.

There is also a gym close by.

For larger shops, such as WH Smith, Tescos or Boots, Catford is a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk away and Lewisham or Bromley, also not far, are both good for clothes shopping.

At the top of our road is the Bellingham train station that takes you right into Central London. Catford also has a train station that takes you into a different part of London. No hot and cramped tubes here. From the moment of leaving our house Transport for London estimates the following times to London mainline stations:
Elephant and Castle: 29 minutes
Blackfriars: 35 minutes
London Bridge: 38 minutes
The available room is furnished, clean, and has a comfy double bed. The room is 11’3" x 10' (3.43m x 3.05m).

We've lived in the house for four years. The house has a fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, wireless internet, Freeview, a television, DVD player and a large DVD collection too. We have both a bath and shower.

There's also a back garden with lawn and flower beds, where it's a delight to chill out / get a tan / have a barbeque in the summer.

Parking is on-street, and there's always a parking space available close to the house.
 
So who already lives here? Well, I'm Andy and Susannah is my partner. We're fun, friendly, very easy-going and are both in the entertainment business. We like to throw the occasional fun party too. We also welcome any friends that want to come or stay over.

The other two that live here are our two young children, who are lovely, adorable and for the best part well-behaved.

We have very few rules. It's a non-smoking house. As long as you lock the front and back door when you go out and treat the house well, we're happy. Your house is as much yours as it is ours.
Rent is £100 a week (£425 a month), with deposit at £200. Council tax is included in the rent, as are all bills except for phone calls. Broadband is also free, and fast too!
